Anchor Necklace
My Anchor design hand cut from a Shilling, hanging from a six pence with the symbols of the British Isles on a silver chain.
I haven’t found many coins with an anchor design on them so stared cutting my own drawing of an anchor in to the coin. I love the snippet of pattern left which decorates the shape.
Materials: Mixed Alloy & Silver
Fittings: Hook & Loop Clasp
Dimensions: Diameter 2cm. Chain Length 46cm
Each design is lovingly made from original coins that I cut by hand. The jewellery comes presented in a box I hand draw, recording the history of the coins used to make the piece.
