Gold Hibiscus & Oak Earrings
Bahamian hibiscus hangs from twisted knot & Oak leaves with Acorns from British Silver Three pence from the 1920s.
This design has an extra personal attachment as it entwines both my parent’s heritage. I have recently updated the design with my twisted knot.
Materials: Coins of silver & mixed alloys, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Fittings: Stud Ear - sterling silver, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Dimensions: Length 5cm. Width 2cm.
The jewellery comes presented in a box I hand draw, recording the history of the coins used to make the piece.
