The beautiful flora design comes from the British 1940s ‘thrupenny bit’ as it was commonly known, depicting the sea thrift plant as well as a Japanese 100 yen with the Sakura Blossom image - interspersed with the recycled Pearl. There is a lovely bit of movement in these earrings, which sit nicely on the ear lobe & what a stunning mix of colours in the materials they are created from.
